We are offering a series of 5, individually paid, residencies for Creatives, Artists & Artisans.

This language-specific Creative Curations is an artists residency Programme, established in 2020 by Tin Shed Theatre Co.

To date, the Creative Curations residency programme has supported multiple artists in mixed art forms to explore new work.

This year, the residency programme explores the theme of Language in their work.

We would like to hear from individuals who consider themselves from an underrepresented background.

Creative Practitioner (Bilingual) Call Out

Are you a Welsh language Speaker/ Welsh language learner, interested in exploring language within your practice?

We are looking for a Creative Practitioner to support our new Welsh programme ‘Bwrlwm Creadigol’, to explore safe & creative spaces that provide social opportunities to use and develop the Welsh language.

The Creative Practitioner will work alongside the company's Producer of Participation Angharad Evans to develop new and exciting opportunities to explore and interrogate language within their practice. Working with the communities of Newport we will use a co-creative methodology, while providing opportunity, confidence and time to develop and explore their relationship and use of the Welsh language.
