WE ARE TIN SHED THEATRE CO.
Tin Shed Theatre Co. is Justin Cliffe and Georgina Harris, two theatre makers based in Newport who are inspired by the strange and the wonderful. We tell stories that are driven by their characters, and make highly physical theatre that blends classic iconography with neon light. We love story-telling and the unpredicatbale energy and experience of the live event.
We want to introduce ourself to strangers, be bold and brave, amaze with a tale and transport audiences to a place that, although remains detached from the literal, can still enlighten our perceptions of the real world all the same.
The work we make is as varied as the things that inspire it. Exploring empty buildings, transforming spaces, and filling theatres and studios with new work as well as exciting re-imaginings inspired by existing texts.

I want to make theatre accessible to a new audience, a younger generation and those who wouldnt typicicaly use the theatre as a form of entertainment. Also to perform in unusual places and with interesting and passionate people.

STATEMENT
I want to be bold and brave whilst attempting to re-create captions of the world in unlikely places. I'm inspired by classical imagery, the absurd and larger than life characters. I love exploring abandoned buildings and experimenting with the fractuous and unpredictable nature of the live experience.
As an individual I write, draw, animate and video-make but I want theatre to be my constant.

​My inspiration to be a performing artist comes simply from my love and curiosity of life, people and the wonders of the complex world around me. My soul Mission as an artist is to create performances that will leave audiences with unique experiences they'll never forget. As well as to entertain, I seek to educate, inspire, and simply move people through the work I create.
