What are the sounds of the city of Newport? ‘Port Vibrations is a sound installation created by the participants of Youth Art Collective’s ‘Newport Sound Explorers’ programme. Take a moment to slip on some headphones and be immersed in the sounds created and recorded with and in response to the city’s evolving soundscapes. This project has been supported and funded by Ty Cerdd.

The two-headed calf will be dead by morning, what will he do with his one starry starry night to live?
In this sexy and divinely stupid adventure, the doomed two-headed-calf is portrayed by two inseparable she/they clown dykes. Complete with opera, a shaky bicycle ride, a medley of cow sex-capades, and an enraged Aphrodite (what’s this about a masc-shortage?) - this freak of nature’s romp around Le Pub is sure to be something.

On a faraway planet made completely of trash, a peculiar creature wades through the remnants of humanity. This is no ordinary trash heap, but a graveyard for wasted time, wasted space, and wasted potential.
When you shove away those nasty old memories and bag up your ratty clothes, where do they really go?
Wasted is presented by Jean, a shape-shifting alien drag thing who has performed at venues across London and NYC, including the National Theatre, Slipper Room, EartH Hackney, The Divine, Clapham Grand, Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club and Dalston Superstore. Since their drag birth in March 2024, they won Top of the Slops Season 4, was a finalist in Europe’s biggest drag king competition, Man Up! and has been featured in Up After Dark, LMAOnaise, and named Love Queers Top 100 of 2025

Introducing Creative Curations Artist in residence 2026! This show will develop in the two weeks leading up to the Fringe.
This project aims to bring a pleasing terror to the people of Newport by seeking out the ghost stories lurking in the dark corners of the city.
Through a series of workshops and conversations, Playwright Owen Thomas will help to turn these dark tales into monologues. The completed pieces will be curated into an evening at ‘The Murenger’ Pub where two skilled actors will bring these haunting tales to life.
