Sara Hartel (they/them) is a theatre maker and movement artist based near Cardiff. Their main focus lies in immersive and interactive theatre that blurs the boundaries between performance and life gaming. They have worked as a director, performer, playwright and game developer with companies such as National Theatre Wales, Hijinx Theatre, Flossy and Boo, S4C and many more. For Creative Curations they will focus on their movement and spoken word practice exploring how language shapes and, at times, limits our gender expression, as well as, how their experience of living in the UK often mirrors their struggle with systemic transphobia: sometimes they feel like a foreigner in their own body.
