Antonio trained at the University of Wales Newport where he achieved a BA honours in performing arts. He was a member of Newport playgoers and vista Theatre Company for three years where he played a number of main roles in their theatrical shows. Some of his roles included Lysander in "A midsummer night’s dream", Konstantin in ‘The Seagull’ and George in "of mice and men". He has devised and performed at the Manchester mist festival 2007 and at the Edinburgh fringe festival 2008. He was also a part of the Scarefest season at Alton towers 2009, where he played a Vampire in the terror of the towers.
